I am running down an old abandoned street, There is no one out here that I can see, I am so sad that I can not speak, My heart is so hurt that it can almost bleed, I am running so fast that I can hardly breathe, My sorrows so deeps that I want to scream, Why does this always happen to me, I have become so numb that I can not feel, The tears that are running down my cheek; I am so tired that I want to sleep, I stop short & fall to my knees, I sob & wipe away my tears, They think they know me but I fear, They are so shallow they can’t even hear, What I have been trying to say all these years, It hurts so bad that I close my ears, They don’t know me & can not get near, I look at the sky & try to make things clear, Take me away when I am here; I am losing my faith, I am getting weak, I falling too deep, I have no words to speak, Nothing left to see, No breathe left to breathe, No tear to weep, No faith to believe, I have forgotten how it feels, So set my soul free, I want to leave, Because I have lost faith in me…
